Hot White Chocolate

It's very cold outside here.... We feel like drinking something hot quite often and we even feel bored drinking coffee, tea, and other instant beverages....

One day I saw this hot white chocolate recipe in a site and tried it.....
It tasted great and from that time it became my favorite..... This is a prefect drink any time a day.... Especially at bed time....

Now my hubby have even bought me a small hand beater for making these drinks and latte.......Isn't it cool....

Basically I blend hot milk with white chocolate and flavoring until foamy...... They go perfectly well with cookies....

Ingredients :

Whole milk - 1 1/2 cups
White chocolate, chopped - 1/4 cup
Instant coffee powder - 1 teaspoon
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon

For Garnish:

Grated dark chocolate

Procedure :

1. Place the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until it is nice and hot.

2. Meanwhile, place the chopped chocolate, instant coffee powder, and vanilla extract in your blender.

3. Then pour the hot milk into the blender and whip until nice and foamy.

4. Pour the hot chocolate into two cups and garnish with grated chocolate. Can also garnish with softly whipped cream.

I am Back.............

Hi Friends I am back form my long vacation......Had nice time in India with friends and family.....Everything went great.....I miss India so much....Slowly i am trying to get back to my routine work though I feel home sick.....

I think I have missed a lot of tasty recipes and interesting events as I was not able to update my site.....I hope I will be able to get back to my routine blogging soon......Very happy to see some new blogs and new events....

By the way about these mini Doughnuts.....I made these from a store bought pizza dough......I rolled the dough and cut it with a round cookie cutter and then I made a round hole on it and deep fried in vegetable oil.

And I dip the doughnut in the chocolate sauce and top it with colour sprinkles, nuts and some royal icing......
